Finished Fallen!!!!!!

Alright I finished Fallen!  Where to begin.  I thought the book was good. This book is the story of  a love that is cursed (by Who I still do not know)  and destined to fail.  Daniel and Luce's story is captivating.. And Kate does leave you intrigued about what happens next.  Still many unanswered questions but that is a good thing because I am definitely going to read the next book in the series.  This was an interesting twist of event from the other books we have read.  The book is about Fallen Angels and one in particular Daniel  who falls for a forbidden love, Luce.  It is a bit adolescent because it deals with young love.  I enjoyed the book very much I could barely put it down.  I was submersed into the story and wanted to know what would happen next.  Kate is a good writer because she doesn't give you too much to soon.  The more your read the more you discover.  Which is great because it doesn't have to much of what  I call fillers!  I would give the the book a VVVV Fang Rating.  I am excited about learning more of Daniel's World.

Finished Fallen

Not to my surprise, this teenage romance about Luce and Daniel was a story about true love and angels. The main character, a strange and beautiful Luce who is followed by shadows, becomes obsessed with unlocking the secrets of alluring boy at her new school. Although, juvenile (thanks Carol) at times, this book really had me going in the beginning. I didn't know what was going to happen next and it was often times funny! Midway through the book after I started to get a grasp on the plot, it seemed to drag on but also had me hooked because I really wanted all the secrets to come to the surface. After finishing the book, a lot of the secrets were answered but a lot were not. Like, there is still really no answer about the shadows or why Luce is sooo important. Lauren Kate totally sets us up for the next book, at this point you would be crazy not too read it. However, I hope it starts fresh with action and doesn't continue on with more of the same. I liked the epilogue, I like the subject matter of past lives and I like the characters and even though I would have enjoyed more action, she did good with the sexual tension. I enjoyed this book more than Die For Me and give it VVVV. On to Torment, don't let me down Kate!

True Blood Season 5 Guide

Counting down the days.....

Check out True Blood News's Season 5 Guide

They have already titled the first three episodes and is continuing to post updates/ previews of each!

EPISODE 501 -  “Turn, Turn, Turn”

EPISODE 502 – “Authority Always Wins”

EPISODE 503 – “It’s New Year”

Big E's Upcoming Movie

TRUEBLOOD-NEWS.COM STATES: Alexander Skarsgård is back at work filming True Blood Season 5, but news of his movie Battleship (plus new stills) surfaced today thanks to Collider.com. They break down 18 things they learned about the movie while visiting the editing bay. My personal favorite:
The film has a very strange sense of humor. During the meetcute between the romantic leads, a down on his luck Taylor Kitsch breaks into a convenience store and steals a frozen burrito in an effort to woo Brooklyn Decker. The burglary goes horribly awry and ends with repeated tasing. The scene is bizarre indeed, but it’s also fairly charming, at times even recalling the tone of Raising Arizona.
The movie is set to release May 18, 2012.

Finished Die for me......

Die for me was a charming book to read.  I thought is was a very creative way to portray the immortals that live among us.  The idea of Reverents (almost angels that died saving a life their fore earning there immortality).  I thought the concept was creative and a pretty hot idea for an immortal with no fangs!.  The description of the reverents was sexy and intriguing.  I would definitely recommend this book to others I would give it VVVV (4 fangs).  The reason  being that it was more of a young adult book and there fore the adult situations did not get very descriptive (hot and steamy) or involved.  The author kept it pg 13 all the way.  I loved the character of Vincent and his story.  In many ways he reminded me of Edward.  Kate was also an interesting character just having suffered the death of her parents she does not handle the idea of death very well.  That does not help if you start falling for the handsome guy who dies over and over again..  The other supporting characters were interesting as well each had a compelling story.  I thought it read well great book to read.  I did however get the feeling that there is more to come because the book was more of an introduction to there lives and not the story of there lives.  I think it definitely set the foundation for more stories of the trial and tribulations of a sprouting romance between a human and an immortal.  I look forward to reading more about Vincent and Kate Amy hurry up and release the next book in the series.
Fang Rating VVVV

Finished Eclipse for the 3rd time!

Give it a rest right? Right! That is exactly what I am doing after this one. I will wait to read Breaking Dawn until Breaking Dawn Part II the movie comes out just cause I want to read something where I don't know what happens next. However, I really enjoyed reading this again, not as much as the first or second time but it was still beautiful especially at the end when she chooses Edward after she realizes she is in love with Jacob. So touching and we can understand now because of Renesme why the pull between Jacob and Bella is so strong. The ending was my favorite part this time around although I still enjoyed the tent scene!

True Blood Episode 5.01

TAKEN FROM TRUE-BLOOD.NET

“Turn! Turn! Turn!”
Airdate: June 2012

Casting Call – added 10.26.11

Filming on True Blood season 5 gets underway shortly, and we have the scoop on new characters being cast for the season premiere, titled “Turn! Turn! Turn!” Ready?
The werewolf community is in an uproar following Marcus’ death in the season 4 finale. The show is casting Rikki, a “dirty-beautiful werewolf” in her mid-20s who wants to know what happened to Marcus. She’s a recurring character, so it sounds like she could cause trouble for Sam and Alcide.
Speaking of Alcide, are we about to meet Herveaux Senior? True Blood is casting J.D., a “particularly large Marine-type” werewolf in his 50s, for a recurring role. He refuses to acknowledge the new pack leader, which sounds awfully similar to a certain storyline in book 5. A confirmed parental unit is Annie, Marcus’ mother, who shows up to find out what happened to her son. She’s a powerful, respected werewolf within the pack and is determined to perform a particular ritual.
Meanwhile, it sounds like Sam might be in trouble. A pair of weres, Danielle and Kenneth, are being cast in connection with a prisoner who is being interrogated…about the death of Marcus? Or something else?
We’ll meet Holly’s two teenage sons, Rocky who thinks his Mom is an idiot (as teenagers do) and Wade who still gives her the benefit of the doubt.
Jason and Jessica are still hot and heavy, attending a frat party together where they meet Cammy, who’s totally into Jason, and Zander who has the hots for Jessica. It’s not all gravy for the pair, though. The show is casting Buddy, a friend of Hoyt’s who works on the Renard Parish road crew and mocks Jason.
In addition to Nora, the Authority double-agent (and sired sister of Eric), we’ll meet Hayes, a large vampire of Eastern European descent who the Authority send to deliver the True Death to “some other vampires”. Thinking back to why Nan visited Bon Temps last, are those “other vampires” Bill & Eric? In possibly related casting, the show is looking for a woman to play Cat, a no-nonsense vampire in her 40s who works with the vampire underground railroad. Who is she helping get out of Bon Temps? Or is she helping someone get into Bon Temps?
And finally, we’ll be flashing back to when Sookie was 12 and being bullied by a couple of boys in gym class. Via her telepathy, she reveals something private about one of them, Donnie, which both confuses and pisses him off.

Breaking Dawn Part 1

For me it could not have been any better. I simply loved it......hats off to all members of the cast and crew. They managed to bring to life this awesome story. The wedding was great. The emotions evident on everyones face. From charlie, Rene,Bella herself, Edward and last but not least Jake. Wow it really did exceed all my expectations. Stephanie you should truly be proud of your story and the way it was brought to life. I am truly a Twimom and proud.

I couldn't agree with you more Carol! We had a blast watching it! The best movie of all four!

Edward's new hair cut sucks!

Okay, here I go......Edward has lost a little of his zeal for me and when competing with the likes of Big E, you better bring it homeboy! It is not his fault, I am blaming it on whoever is doing hair and makeup for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. With each movie, his hair has gotten shorter and shorter, in my opinion, making him look worse and worse, less dangerous, less sexy, less timeless. It goes against the dramatic and doesn't accentuate his beautiful features. Please see my examples of this below, the evidence speaks for itself! You are dorking him out people!!!            - Mon

Christina Perri Breaking Dawn Video!!!!!

Cover for Deadlocked is here!

Straight from my fav fansite http://www.ericandsookie.com/
"Woot! The cover art for the next Sookie book, Deadlocked, is here! The green light/ring in which we see Sookie leaping  is no doubt the Cluvier Dor (which basically grants Sookie a wish). How will Sookie use it to fix things with Eric, who is betrothed to the Queen of Oklahoma against his will? Will she use it for that at all? Can’t wait to find out! "

Kristen Stwart's 'Breaking Dawn' confessions to Parade magazine

One excerpt below, for more questions and answers Click Here!

On Bella and Edward "hating each other.""They’re in love, but Edward and Bella are at complete odds in this story. For the first time, you actually feel like they kind of hate each other. I played a moment that was so wrong-feeling to me, it so betrayed everything that I’ve played up until this point. I hated Edward. I truly looked at him like, 'You better steer clear and stay away from me.' Bella turns into a feral animal. She’s protective. She’s a mother. It’s stronger than anything she’s ever felt."

And this pic below is for Carol, who would always talk about how Edward was "loosing it" in the first part of BD!

Finished!! The Sookie Stackhouse Companion.......

Well Just finished reading the companion and it was great.  I am a sucker for a little insight information.  Although the main story is about Sookie and her friendship with Sam it was good  to read.  The story does reference to what Sookie does during the day while Big E is sleeping.  There is very little interaction with Eric.  But we do see Quin and Alcide again.  We also get some recipes like Caroline's award winning Chocolate cake.  The Conversations between Eric and Bill give us a little more of an insight on the dynamics between the two.  There is also a different timeline that is associated with each of the books.  I think it would be good to use while reading the books.  Overall it was very good.
It was fun and light reading I would definitely recommend it.

Meet Eric Northman’s Sister??!!!

I don't know....this (she) better be good....I am hopeful but the farther away from the books they get, the more concerned I become :(  Don't screw it up Alan Ball! I have faith in you and miss Big E dearly!

From our favorite fansite, ericandsookie.com:

This season we are going to meet Eric Northman’s “sister”… another progeny of our beloved Godric. Her name is Nora and she is going to be played by the stunning British actress Lucy Griffiths of BBC’s Robin Hood. Her character is “working as a double agent within the Vampire Authority. Described as intelligent, intimidating, cool under pressure and a very good liar, Nora loves Eric deeply, but has dedicated her life to a higher purpose.” Can’t wait to meet dear sis and see how similar she is to Eric. The description sounds quite a bit like him!

Finished Twilight for the 3rd time!!

Yes, I have a problem! lol! I thought since I am going to read Breaking Dawn for the upcoming movie release why not just start from the beginning! I also had a marathon movie watching of the first three films with my mama which also prompted me to READ ON! It was great, like always, the beginning sucks you in, sometimes I get tired of their impossible talks and I love the beginning, the dinner (mushroom ravioli), etc much more than the end with James are her in the hospital! Always fun, of course less powerful then my first entry into Forks (a life altering experience)!

Latest Single from Breaking Dawn Part 1

I am dying to know in what scene they will play this and WHO is it about? I listen intently to the lyrics but can't decide....Edward to Bella...or Jacon to Bella? What do you think?

Finished Die For Me!

One of the reasons I wanted to read this book was because of its cover so I saw it fitting that I include it in my review! So cool. To me the book did not live up to the cover but I still enjoyed it none the less. This is book one of three in a teen book series so there was less action then we are used to but at the same time nice because I felt more of a connection between the two main characters, Kate and Vincent. I liked all of the characters and it had just the right mix of action and romance for me. There are no fangs in this book but supernatural creatures called "reverents" instead, very creative writing. All in all not bad for no sex and no fangs!

Sookie Book 12 and 13 Update

Charlaine Harris just posted this on facebook. Can't wait to see the cover!

The May 2012 Sookie Stackhouse novel, "Deadlocked," is the NEXT to last Sookie. The May 2013 book will be the last one. Today I'm finishing my story for the next anthology Toni L.P. Kelner and I are editing ("An Apple for the Creature") which will not be out until next year. We're receiving some great stories for this anthology. I've seen the completed cover for "Deadlocked," by the way, and it's amazing! You go, Lisa Desimini . . .

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Director talks about birth in movie as "almost like a horror scene" and new stills! I am excitied!

BELOW COPIED FROM CELEBUZ!

If you thought that Breaking Dawn: Part 1 was going to be your run-of-the-mill tween romance movie, think again. Director Bill Condon says that the blood and intensity of the upcoming Twilight film sets it apart from all the others.
Condon tells Box Office Magazine that he thought long and hard about how to handle the “very, very intense” scenes in the movie, adding that unlike a lot of the previous Twilight scenes, this one is “almost like a horror movie.”
He goes on to say that he used David Cronenberg — who’s had a blast with blood and slicing on A History of Violence and Eastern Promises – as a bit of a model on how to make things edgy while still maintaining a teen-safe rating for the film.
“I think within the confines of a PG-13 rating, I think we’ve got something that’s pretty powerful,” Condon said.
The PG-13 rating also had to stay in check with the passionate honeymoon scene, wherein Bella and Edward — played by Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson — participate in some pillow-maiming love.

Finished Sookie Companion

Wow, what a nice breath of fresh air this book was! Came in perfect time too since I was still going through True Blood withdraw. There is a great short story called, Small-Town Wedding, where Quinn comes back to win Sookie back. I loved having Quinn back because there was so much going on when they ended their relationship in the books and we got to revisit that. Besides this story however, there is not a whole lot of dialog in this book. It has a timeline, literally a play by play of happened each day, for all of the books, then interviews with Charlaine and Alan Ball answering questions from fans, which I enjoyed more than the timeline. This book has everything including a recipes! But by far, my favorite part of this book were the "Secret Dialogues of Bill and Eric". They had me laughing out loud! It also mentions all of the other Sookie short stories and the order in which they should be read of the books...which prompted me to download, A Touch of Dead. I guess a real fanatic could go back and read each book and the short story that follows it in order..however, I am a mom and don't have THAT much free time :) This book is a great resource, one I wish I had when reading the books! Five fangs for this companion, it had a little bit of everything!

Finished Sunshine!!!

I just finished Sunshine.  It was definitely different.  I must say that although the story line was not about your typical romance between a Vamp and a human.  It was interesting and a pretty cool book to read.  I would give that book 3 fangs.  I was a little thrown off by the fact that the book did not have any chapters, because of that it felt like a run on sentence and often times the story lost some momentum.  I would suggest that you do not read it at night because it will put you to sleep.  But I do think that reading this book was ultimatley worth it.  The relationship between Sunshine and Constantine is different yet endearing.

Finished Halfway to the Grave

Wow, that was a bit painful...This was book 1 in the Night Huntress Series. It moved fast at first, I was digging Mr. Bones but the fact that I just couldn't relate to Cat was what got me in the end. The beginning was good, the building sexual tension, etc but then after the big hook up it just seemed like the author was all over the place with the plot and I just got bored. This series kind of reminds me of the Love at Stake series but without the humor, if you are going to be a light sexy romance, be a light sexy romance. This is a light sexy romance that is trying to be more than it is. Pretty low on the creative meter for me personally. I had to force myself to finish this one. In the end, I think it was the characters, mostly the heroine, she was annoying and lacked substance. The ending was a total cliffhanger that leads into the next book, but not enough to make me download it into my reader! lol. I just couldn't handle Cat (not our Cat of course) and her mama.

Sookie Book 13

I literally just pulled this off Charlaine's Facebook post today: Looks like the FINAL Sookie Book to come out May 2013! Wonder how it will end! Hope she has an actual ending...
I'm a long-time fan of Laurell's. We just knew our worlds wouldn't mesh well. And to be absolutely clear, there will be two more Sookie books, one in May 2012 and one in May 2013. Now, off to have breakfast with my good friend Joanna Carl, lunch with my fan club, do a panel this afternoon, and dine with the Orion reps present here. A great day.

When I Die : True Blood Season 4 Finale

I am so sad, La Sook se fue! My Sookie summer is officially over! I will def be reading book 5 before season 5 begins! So much to say, OMGF Jesus is dead and possibly Tara too. Lafayette and Tara's characters discuss this on trueblood-news.com stating that neither saw this coming. Lafayette's character said he should be Russel Eddington's boyfriend if he indeed returns and Tara doesn't know if she will come back as a ghost or not at all.....never mentioning being turned into a vamp?! I think they may turn her although I won't miss her nasally voice and bad New Orleans accent. They left us with such a cliffhanger...will Tara live, what is up with Terry's suspicious new friend, and Steve Newlin's appearance at the end? Oh yeah, and Jessica is dangerous, por favor muchacha! The more I talk about this, the more I want to go and read book 5 now! I also think that Andy's fairy will be back to bite us all in the ass as well. And about our man, of course I think Sook is crazy for denying the Viking but it only makes sense as a way to keep the sexual tension going. They can't end up together already because the series would be over, so I am actually okay with that. So where does that leave us with Season 5? Spoilers say that they will delv more into Pam and Eric's bond and what about our weretiger Quinn? Will he make an apperance? One thing is for sure, with half the cast dying off there will def be some newcomers on the scene. Guess I will have to wait until May to read book 12 to get my fix. Until then, My beloved Big E...enjoy the long nights.
- Mon

Total Cliffhanger! Is what comes to mind when you see the season finale of True Blood..
I agree with Mon on a few key points.  LaSook should have chosen the Viking he is totally Hot...Muy Caliente.  But I can see why the writers must keep that love triangle going.  Very Rancho of them to have a scene where she is feeding both Eric and Bill  her blood at the same time.  It is definitley a diffrent type of threesome (uh.lala).  Seems like Bill and Eric are working well together, they killed the head of the authority total B***** when she threatened to out Sookie and her fairy blood  "Bravo Boys well done".  Did Russell escape from his grave and will we be seeing more of him in the future.  Has Jessica become the resident Hoho Vamp on TB?  Does Pam love Eric in more ways than that of a maker and child?.  Will Tara die or possibly become a Vamp?  Why did Lafayette kill "Boyfriend" (Jesus), that sucked!!!  Arlene is seeing the ghost of Rene and he is warning her, a little weird but ok.  Andy is still trying to court Holly yet had a crazy encounter with a fairy in the woods.  Overall I thought it was very entertaining and look forward to the next season! Viva Bon Temps............ till next Summer.

Soul of Fire: Episode 411

Glad bad ass Mr. Big and Blond is back!

So sad my Sookie summer is almost over! Great episode, I was on the edge of my seat and totally did not see Marnie taking hold of Lafayette at the end coming at all. I thought next episode they would just be patching stuff up! Yeah right! Looks like it is going to be action packed. The Eric and Sookie website ericandsookie.com, actually mentions the book for once so I had to put it in. Food for thought, see below, can't wait till next week!

"A ring of fire surrounds Sookie and draws ever closer, threatening to burn her alive. Sookie starts to scream in panic and both Eric and Bill can feel her fear in all its gut wrenching agony. Eric paces outside, literally, wanting so badly to get to her but not being able to. Kind of reminded me of Book 9 when Sookie was kidnapped by fae and Eric was being held against his will, not able to go to her, as he felt her fear and terror while they tortured her."
Mon-

Well I am so glad to see the  Bad A** Eric we all  know and love from the books.  Once again the episode was riviting and left me wanting more.  There is definatley alot of tension between Sookie and Eric.  How I wished I could jump into the tv and tell La Sook to pick Eric.  By far the better Vamp!!!!!!!!!! Well since I can't do that I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the writers will come up with.  Seems unreal that we are down to the final episode of season 4.  Marnie has possed Lafayette and Sookie and Eric are in a stare down contest.  Jason has feeling for Jessica, and Andy hooked up with a fairy.  Totally action packed!!
I truely hate to see 4 season come to an end.

Finished Sunshine!

Well, well, what can I say....there is something very special about this book despite that there are no chapters (thanks for pointing that out cat!) and it all seems like one big run on sentence. To me this book is about girl power, coming into yourself and accepting life on life's terms which I really like. I would have liked a better hook up of vamp and girl at the end (more action) but she ended it tastefully, she leaves many questions unanswered and leaves A LOT up to the imagination......good thing I have a good imagination! I really liked this book, not perfect but something different and a welcomed change and fresh look to the classic vamp love story. This one stands out from the rest!

Episode 410 : Burning Down The House

All I gots to say is : HE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO REMEMBER ANYTHING! Okay, now that I got that out...that is such a key to the building love and tensions through books 5-7 or 8? I have no idea where it is going to go from here! And her declaring her love for Bill... :( So doesn't happen either. Like I said before, at least they are sticking with the love triangle storyline which is present in the books all the way through. And hey, I dying to see what happens next and so sad season 4 will soon be over. Loving Big E's response to it all!
Mon-

Well I must say that I did not know what to make of this episode.  Eric remembered everything and instead of it being totally Awesome!! Sookie is confused about her feelings for Big E!!!!!!!!!! Well that was a let down for me.  I can understand why the writers took this route becase when you read all the books those mix feelings are present and surface from time to time.  But like Mon mentioned Eric and Sookie are an item in the books and that is very clear.....and in the series we just don't know where this is headed.  I am looking foward to seeing how this season is going to end.  So far Lafayette is great and funny"its a latin thing".  OMG I laughed he's too much.  And Jason is also great!!!!!!!look foward to seeing some more.

What Cat\

I liked it very much.  I thought Kerrelyn Sparks did a good job of incorporating in a little divinity into her book. Well Done! Connor was great , Marielle was moving and enticing.  I enjoyed going off to the world of Love at Stake nightly it was great to unwind after a hectic day with this awesome story.  Thanks for the great story and the motivating messages.  I  must say that I enjoyed the aspect of Marielle being a fallen angel. I am looking foward to reading Gregory's story.

True Blood Episode 409: Let's Get Out of Here

What can I say? It sucks having satellite because it rained and I missed the whole dream! Here are pics that leave me wanting more. The other obessive fan sites say said that in this episode although Sookie and Eric did not have any time together physically, this dream was an symbol of Sookie's love for the real Eric not just amnesia Eric. I am just going with it at this point and thinking of the moment in the books when he remembered everything that took place with them and how at this rate it will never become a reality on TV. That is okay, I will take what I can get. I did see the conclusion of the baby weirdness which I liked a lot and poor Jason, what are you doing? He is too funny though. I have to give it to Ryan Kwaten for playing a perfect Jason! Also always wondering, we have 3 episodes left and is Ms. Debbie Pelt going to be offed like she is in the books....again at this rate, I doubt it.

This episode was great!  I like to see what Sookie is fantasising about.  Seems like Sookie has feellings for both Eric and Bill.  Hard to tell what direction the show is heading towards since it deviates from the books some.  I'm still a fan and Team E all the way.  Although... her dream was not bad at all!  Just because your on a diet that doesn't mean you can't look at the menu!!!!!!!!LOL.  Go Sookie.....Can't wait till next week.

New Big E Covers Out

FOR DETAILS CHECK OUT http://www.trueblood-news.com/

Finished Vampire Mine, Book 11

This was one of my favs from the Love at Stake series. Although, the series overall is lower on my list of must reads, I really enjoyed this one. It was up there with Angus and Emma. I liked the emphasis of faith in this book and one thing I always enjoy about the Love at Stake series is that the vampire's eyes get red when they are turned on. Pretty hot. Like I said, not a huge fan of the way she writes and it didn't leave me dying for more, however, it was a really fast read. Glad it was a good one this way I will def be interested in reading the next (Gregory)!

True Blood Episode 408 Spellbound

WOW! They redeemed themselves! The last two episodes have been blah despite the fact that it was suppose to be Eric and Sookie's big hook up. I think because it is such a huge turning point in the books, most book fans were not happy about the way it was portrayed on screen. This episode, I liked their attempt at portraying the blood bond and how powerful it is and Bill is looking better two. Which I think it is the whole point to the series, the triangle and Sookie and Eric's entense love. Anywho, left Cat and I with a lot to talk about and was def better than the last two episodes. Now if they can just keep it up!

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.  I like the fact that they were true to the book and then gave us what I like to call more info...  I agree they did redeem themselves.  Although  I am team E all the way I thought that Bill redeemed himself somewhat... by respecting Eric and Sookies relationship.  Looking foward to next weeks episode.  Loving True Blood Season 4.

Mon's Shower Rant: I feel like I cannot let this episode go without mentioning the whole shower scene thing (those who have read the books, know what I mean). The whole reason the shower hook up was so special was because it was the first! No real physical contact was made then all of a sudden Big E is in your shower....them trying to bring it into the picture after they already got it on just down played it. However, not all is lost because they tied in the shower scene with the blood bond and related it to thier first true intense bond which it was!

Dead Reckoning Sookie Book 11

Just finished Sookie book 11.  I thought it was great once again Mrs Harris did not disappoint.
What a cliffhanger.... She really does leave you wanting more.  Can't wait till the next book comes out
-Cat

I love the book, it gave me what I needed but was totally cut in half! She left so much hanging. I thought the ending could have been better so much that I didn't feel like it was a complete book. Can't wait to read the next book, knowing that the series is coming to end soon!

The Love At Stake series got us through a dry spell after we finished Sookie 11 and had no where to go, but the cheesy covers have got to go! Currently reading Vampire Mine and the cover is horrible, it looks nothing like how she describes Connor in the book and the angel looks like a postitute. One of my favs from Love at Stake so far but please Ms. Sparks, leave the characters up to my imagination.
